Christine was born and raised in South Northamptonshire on the family farm, and grew up on ponies, hay making, lambing and riding out the point to pointers her Father trained after school.

She worked as a Groom with Hunters, Show Jumpers but mostly Race Horses with a local National Hunt and Flat Trainer. She also completed 25 consecutive seasons Race Riding as an Amateur Jockey alongside training and working as a Bench Saddler and riding out, until moving to a Full time position as a Saddler and Saddle Fitter at Harley Equestrian.

Here she did all the warranty work for Bates for many years and is now one of the few saddlers in the UK with Specialist skills working on the Wintec and Bates Brands.

Turning self employed in 2021 and retaining a close partnership with Harley Equestrian, benefiting from their large range of New and Secondhand saddles, alongside the growing range in her own collection of saddles.
